Jimmy Cobblah Picks Richard Arthur As Best Player In The First Round

Inter Allies trainer Jimmy Corbblah has singled out Wa All Stars star forward Richard Arthur as the best player at the end of the first half of the season.

The pair worked together at the Wa Park across the 2014/15 FCPPL season but the celebrated tactician believes his former striker outshone his colleagues in the opening half of this current season.

The former Danbort and Heart of Lions trainer cited the consistency and work ethics of the free scoring Arthur who look reborn in the current season.

Jimmy Corbblah singled out the Wa All Stars hitman for the most outstanding individual performer in the first half based on the overall contribution of the former Windy Professionals centre forward rather than his goal ratio.

Speaking to www.sportscrusader.com on his personal most outstanding player in the first round of the season, Jimmy Corbblah did not mince words in pronouncing Richard Arthur.

“My best player in the first half of the season is Wa All Stars FC Richard Arthur. This is a boy who couldn’t live up to expectations last year after his arrival from the division one league who is now the first choice striker for our Local black Stars. I picked Richard from the division one league and not surprised at his current scoring form.

I predicted a very strong season for him in my end of season report(whiles with Wa All Stars) and asked that he be given another chance having struggled last season”, Jimmy told sports crusader.

Richard Arthur failed his 24 goals in the preseason in his maiden season with Wa All Stars in the top flight but has since recorded 6 goals in the current campaign.

The hitman found the back of the net against the division’s feared sides including Hearts of Oak, Kotoko, Berekum Chelsea and Inter Allies. The star forward is yet to end on a losing side after scoring for Wa All Stars in his seven career goals so far.

Inter Allies Trainer Relieved To Have Moved Out Of The Drop Zone

Head coach of Inter Allies Jimmy James Corbblah has heaved a sigh of relieve after finishing the first round outside the drop zone.

The former Wa All trainer steered the Eleven is to one away the relegation zone having joined the club in the last three matches to the end of the first round.

The Inter Allies tactician cited the youthful nature of his side and the talents on board as enough reasons to sustain their premier league status amid torrid start to the season.

The Tema based top flight campaigners parted ways with ace trainer Herbert Addo after a turbulent start to the campaign that saw them stuck in the red colour zone.

The youthfully inclined trainer predicted a stronger second round for the Eleven is to one of if they can gel as a unit.

“Inter Allies does not deserve to be in the relegation zone. I believe we will even get better when the second round starts because of the young talents we have.

All my players needed is a strong mentality and I am sure by the start of round two.

The former Fanboy and Heart of Lions animated tactician revels in the youthful nature and promised to instil that missing self confidence within the playing squad.

” I have a number of talented young players in the team as at now.

All I needed to do is to instil that missing confidence in the team and Inter Allies will be a different team altogether”, the inter Allies trainer concluded.

Jimmy Corbblah engineered a 3-1 defeat for Inter Allies over Berekum Chelsea to move out of the drop after a turbulent start to the campaign.

The animated trainer is noted for his unflinching confidence in players as across his coaching career.

Jimmy Cobblah, head coach of Inter Allies, admitted he heaved a sigh of relief after his ended their six-game winless run against Berekum Chelsea on Wednesday.

Three first goals from Edward Adjklo and Frederick Boateng (brace) were enough to earn the Eleven Is To One a first win for Jimmy Cobblah.

And the former Wa All Stars coach expressed delight after the victory.

“We needed to win this game and we did just that, i must confess it has released the pressure on us but I think I need to build on this performance in our subsequent matches,” he told press after the game.

“At this point in time the League becomes tougher so you need to take advantage of your home matches’ but personally I am very excited with this victory and the way my boys played today.”

Inte Allies are now 14th on the League table with 14 points and will now face Sekondi Hasaacas in their next game.

Official: Allies Confirm Cobblah Appointment

Inter Allies Football Club has confirmed the appointment of  Jimmy Corbblah as the team’s new Head Coach.

The Eleven Is To One parted company with Herbert Addo after their match-week 10 one-all stalemate against Techiman City at the Tema Sports Stadium.

And Coblah, formerly of Wa All Stars has since been linked with the vacant post to succeed the veteran trainer.

It will be recalled that Sportscrusader. com reported that Mr. Cobblah was at the verge of sealing a deal with the Tema-based club soon.

After his appointment, Mr. Cobblah said:

‘‘I’m very honoured to be given the opportunity to work with Inter Allies FC. It was exciting meeting the squad and we have started building toward success,” he told www.interalliesfc.com.

He brings with him a wealth of coaching experience gained, after he previously coached Wa All Stars, Heart of Lions and Danbort FC.

Corbblah will take full-charge when the ‘Eleven Is To One’ face AshantiGold on 18 May in week 12 fixture of the 2015/2016 Ghana Premier League in Tema.

Jimmy Coblah confirmed he is set to replace Herbert Addo as the head coach of Ghana Premier League (GPL) side, Inter Allies.

Inter Allies and Herbert Addo agreed to part ways after the club’s poor run of form in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.

Jimmy Cobblah has been linked with the job, after been seen on several occasions at the club. He assisted in the team’s selection when the 2013 MTN FA Cup finalist visited West Africa Football Academy for week 11 of the GPL match.

And he has confirmed the reports.

“I made some inputs in the player selection of Inter Allies against WAFA over the weekend, so that when I finally takes over the club I will kick the ground running.

“Talks are advanced with Inter Allies, but I have not completed any deal with them,” Jimmy Koblah told Happy FM.

Inter Allies are lying 15 on the league log with 10 points, only above Ebusua Dwarfs.
