Aduana Stars versatile player, Yahaya Mohammed has revealed that disunity in camp forced head coach Nurudeen Ali Ahmed to resign.

Nurudeen Ali resigned as head coach of the Dormaa-based club immediately after suffering a second successive Ghana Premier League loss to Wa All Stars at the Agyemang Badu Park last Sunday.

Mr. Nurudeen said his decision to relinquish his position are ‘personal’, whilst media reports claim there is no unity within the playing body.

Yahaya Mohammed earlier in the week revealed there’s no unity within the team, adding that not even players like Messi, Ronaldo, Suarez and Hazard led by Jose Mourinho can achieve results.

His comments were described as ‘irresponsible’, but the outspoken former Kumasi Asante Kotoko forward insist there is no unity and that probably forced the former Wa All Stars boss to resign.

“In everything you do, you have to be united. If the unity is not there, anything you do will not work,” Yahaya told Accra based Starr FM.

“This is why the coach quit. I am disappointed that our disunity forced him to leave.” he noted.

Aduana Stars versatile player, Yahaya Mohammed has revelaed that there is no unity in camp.

The Dormaa-based club has started poorly in the Ghana Premier league, leading to reports that there is division in the dressing room.

The reports were near confirmed when management stripped Godfred Saka off the captaincy armband, and three days later, head coach Nurudeen Ali resigned sighting ‘personal reasons’.

But Yahaya Mohammed has opened up to the fans of the club and Ghanaians that there is not unity.

“It is true that there is an impasse and divisions in the team and it has contributed to our defeats” Yahaya told Adom FM

“If we go and bring Messi, Ronaldo, Hazard, Suarez as well as Mourinho and we are not one, we cannot move forward. I hope we solve all this internal problems peacefully so that the team get on its feet.” he said.

Having already lost two games in row, Yahaya Mohammed wants Aduana Stars to win their upcoming league fixture against Techiman City.

“We have no option than to beat TCFC and we are going to do that, Is very much possible. The same way Wa All Stars came and beat us, that is the same way we can also go and beat another team.” he noted.

Meanwhile, assistant coach of the club, Ameyaw has described Yahaya Mohammed’s open revelation as “irresponsible” and has promised to “meet him face to face.”

I Resigned For Personal Reasons

Former head coach of Aduana Stars, Nurudeen Ahmed Ali Ibrahim has said he resigned for for personal reasons.

Aduana Stars lost two successive Ghana Premier League matches against Inter Allies and Wa All Stars at the Tema sports stadium and the Agyemang Badu Park respectively.

And the former Wa All Stars boss accepted responsibility for the disastrous start and relinquished his position.

“My decisiont resign is personal,” Nurudeen Ali told Asempa FM.

“I had the backing of the of board and the players, but I resigned because of what is going on in the club.

“I got good players during the transfer market, but there’s is difference between assembling good players and getting them to play as a unit.

“So I accepted the responsibility of the poor start and i had to leave.”

The search for a Nurudeen Ali’s replacement will begin in the coming days.

Aduana Stars Strip Godfred Saka Off Captaincy

Sportscrusader can confirm that the management of Aduana Stars has stripped Godfred Saka off the captaincy armband.

It is alleged that Aduana Stars is unhappy with the commitment level for club and took the decision to seize the armband from him after a Board meeting on Wednesday.

Sources added that Godfred Saka is instigating differences in camp after head coach Nurudeen Ali Ibrahim chose Joseph Addo in between the sticks over Stephen Adams in their Ghana Premier League opening league fixture against Inter Allies.

Aduana Stars lost the premier league match against Inter Allies and Saka made his displeasure known after the game, claiming that Joseph Addo is not a good goalkeeper for the club.

It is also alleged that Godfred Saka rejected instructions from the goalkeeper during the match.

And management has taken the decision to take off the leadership position from him. It is unclear who will take over from Godfred Saka, but Yahaya Mohammed is tipped highly to succeed him.
