Attram Targets Swift Return To The Premiership

Accra Great Olympics experienced centre forward Godwin Attram has hinted at an instant return to the topflight after their shock relegation at the end of the 2014/15 FCPPL season.


The former Ghana international commended fans of the capital based side and has pledged to play a crucial role en-route to their qualification back to the premier league.


The lanky attacker sparingly featured for the Wonder club across the 2014/15 FCPPL which saw them join the drop despite a final day heroics against eventual champions Ashgold.


Attram revealed their collective decision to book a place in the 2016/17 GPL as a reward to the loyal fans of the club at the first time of asking.


The former Black Stars attacker then availed himself to play a more central role in their qualification bid as a sign of commitment to the club.


“We are looking at instant return to the premier league and has been preparing for that since the first day we got relegated.


“It is a collective decision and that has given it more power and the likelihood of us qualifying at the end of the season is very high.


“As a traditional club the supporters have been massive and the only way we can pay them back is to also qualify and make them happy. Watch out for Accra Great Olympics at the end of the season.” Attram told sports crusader.


Accra Great Olympics surprised many fans in the country when they surprisingly joined the dropped at the end of the 2014/15 FCPPL season despite their array of stars and experienced players in their books, that includes Godwin Attram, Richard Kingston and Daniel Ziema Quaye.
