Accra Hearts of Oak Japanese-American coach, Kenichi Yatshuashi has admitted the Japanese community that trooped into the Accra sports stadium on match week 1 when his side hosted New Edubiase was just one side of the globe appeal the club currently attracts.

The Accra sports stadium was almost filled to capacity with spectators but the number of Japanese that were present and in the colours of the Phobians caught the attention of the media and all who was present.

Coach Kenichi Yatshuashi days after the game spoke to sportscrusader.com and could not hide his delight in relation to his compatriots who came to throw their weight behind him during his first competitive and premier league debut

but the soft-spoken Keni said that was just a tip of the iceberg in terms of the fans that the Hearts fans appeal to.

He said, “there are a lot more interest in Hearts from abroad – interest from the United State of America, europe and some interest from Oceania and south america as well.

He added, “haven coached players across the globe the interest in Hearts will only grow.”

Coach Keni is having a memorable and enjoyable first season in Ghana football after recording two consecutive wins in the opening two games of the Ghana premier league 2015-16 season.
