GPL Preview: Bechem United v New Edubiase United

Bechem United will be home to New Edubiase United in a match-day three fixture of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday with both looking for their second wins of the campaign.

The home side opened their 2015/16 campaign on an impressive note as they defeated Liberty Professionals 2-0 at home before losing 0-1 to debutants Dreams FC last Sunday at the Dawu Park.

New Edubiase United suffered a painful 0-1 defeat to Hearts of Oak in their opening fixture in Accra before recovering to beat Ebusua Dwarfs by the same margin last weekend.

Last season, they shared the spoils in the league, with Bechem picking the three points with a 3-1 win after earlier losing 0-2 at Obuasi.

They therefore will head into this tie as the odds on favourites, but, New Edubiase United will have something to say about that as they have looked impressive in the two games they have played so far.
