National Womens League Set To Kick-Off On March 19

The fourth edition of the National Women’s League (NWL) is set to kick off on March 19, 2016 across the various centers.


The newly expanded NWL will see sixteen clubs grouped into Southern and Northern zones before meeting in August for the final showdown.


Fixtures for the fourth edition of the NWL will be released on March 12, 2016, before official launching of the season four days later.


According to the GFA, registration has already been opened for all sixteen clubs across the country and will end May 31, using the new FIFA connect online database.


The northern zone will see Chawia ladies from Upper West region flexing muscles with Lepo Ladies, Prisons Ladies and the much dreaded Ampem Darkoa Ladies for the top spot in the Women Premier Division.


In the southern sector, losing finalist, Hasaacas Ladies will be gunning for the top spot alongside Soccer Intellectuals, Halifax Ladies and Immigration ladies.


Northern Zone: Ampen Darkoa Ladies, Prisons Ladies, Fabulous ladies, Ashtown ladies, Lepo ladies, Northern ladies, Subaya Golden ladies, Chawia Ladies.


Southern Zone: Hasaacas Ladies, Soccer Intellectuals, Lady Strikers, Bafana Ladies, Police Ladies, Halifax Ladies, samara Ladies.
