Andre Ayew was in action on Tuesday night for Swansea City as Salomon Rondon scored a last-minute equaliser to earn a vital point for West Brom and cancel out Gylfi Sigurdsson’s earlier goal.
Rondon’s goal came seconds before Neil Swarbrick blew his full-time whistle and sent the fans at The Hawthorns into raptures.
Swansea thought they had grabbed a crucial three points to steer them further away from the relegation zone after Sigurdsson took the lead with a clinical finish on 64 minutes.
There was some concern shortly before half-time when Ki Sung-Yeung looked to have been knocked unconscious after colliding with West Brom’s Stephane Sessegnon. Ki was given oxygen and stretchered off the pitch. Swansea have confirmed that the midfielder is ‘OK’ but just a ‘little concussed’.
Andre Ayew who had a great game, was substituted in the 82nd minute.
