Who Saani? Don’t Mind Him, He’s A Liar
Amidaus Professionals president Alhaji Ahmed Gedo has questioned why no one is asking for explanation as to why lawyer Maxwell Opoku Agyemang has resigned.
The seasoned football administrator believes there are some hidden truths behind why the Ghana football association will just accept lawyer Opoku’s resignation without at least pushing for him to stay on. Alhaji Gedo thinks the hierarchy at the FA were all caught ball-watching as lawyer Maxwell Opoku Agyemang who until his resignation headed the player status committee.
Speaking in a radio interview to Kumasi based, Boss fm 93.7 Gedo claims, “Our game here is Ghana is gradually drawing closer to a ditch. If a respectable, truth-telling man as lawyer Opoku resigns and no one is asking what influence his decision then there’s no future for football in this country.”
“The lawyer has sat on a case and brought out the ruling then the FA takes the matter to the court of arbitration (CAS) to challenge the ruling and then they come out to deny – processing the case to CAS. Don’t pay attention to Saani Darra, he’s a liar. I’ve a copy of the ruling and it does confirm the players registration is fictitious and fraudulent and null and void,” he added.
The GFA are yet to name a successor to the throne as the new chairman of the player status committee.
