GHALCA Fix April 21 For Elections

Ghana League Clubs Association, GHALCA has fixed April 21 for their elections.


GHALCA, the mother body of all league clubs in Ghana went to congress at the media centre of the Accra sports stadium on Tuesday February 16 to review the year and fix a date for this year’s elections.


And April 21 has been chosen as the day to for delegates to vest their power in interested candidates to lead the affairs of the association.


Forms are yet to be made available for interested candidates to file their nominations, but some have already made public their intent to vie for the chairmanship position.


Incumbent chairman, Alhaji Raji, Chief Executive Officer of Ashanti Gold, Cudjoe Fianoo, who has served as administrative manager of the association before, Nana Oduro Sarfo, chairman of GHALCA organised competitions ticketing committee, and Kofi Poku has made their intends known.


However, vice chairman Isaac Koomson is rumoured to interested in the position but will announce his candidature after the congress.


Winners of the various positions will be sworn in on April 28.
