Ghana Paralympic Committee Pays A Courtesy Visit To The Brazilian Embassy




The executive committee of the Ghana Paralympic Committee has paid a courtesy visit on the Brazil consulate in Ghana with regards to the preparations of the association going into upcoming Paralympics games.


The President of the GPC, Mr Cornelius Adjah-Coffie expressed his gratitude to the consulate for giving them the opportunity,and further raised concerns of the Committee with regards to the facilitation of the contingent that will representing Ghana in upcoming Paralympics in Rio.


The President also emphasized the need for coordinated dialogue so that issue with regards to Visas shall be facilitated to prevent unpleasant future occurrences.


The delegation was received by the Deputy Head of Mission  Minister Counsellor Rubem G. Coan Fabro Amaral who was pleased with the visit by the committee  and assured the committee of  coordinated interaction with regards to the processing of various visa applications. He said “you don’t have to worry about visa issue especially with the athletes,we cant stop any athlete from participating”.


The Paralympics games is due to start right after the Olympics games in September and the Paralympic team is participating in various qualifiers across the world in order to qualifier.
