"I Miss Playing Active Football"-Charles Taylor

Former Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko playmaker, Charles Taylor has mentioned that he still has the urge to return to active football despite calling time on his career.

Taylor whose rise to fame came during his time with Accra Hearts of Oak, later played for Asante Kotoko and Berekum Chelsea before finally announcing his  retirement.

He is now pastor, but Taylor who was part of the Millenium Team that played Hearts of Oak in the Impartation Match last Sunday mentioned that he feels he still has some unfinished business.

“Football is my life and football made me who I am today, so leaving the game will always be difficult. I sometimes get the urge to come back, and that for me is normal”, Taylor told sportscrusader.com in an interview.

According to him, he doesn’t miss any opportunity to play football, hence his decision to be part of the Impartation Match.

On the match itself, Taylor said he was impressed with the turnout and the fact that he saw most of his old colleagues.
