I’m Excited To Be Named MVP – Evans Mensah
Evans Mensah, Inter Allies winger who was named the man of the match after the team’s 2-0 victory over Aduana Stars on Sunday afternoon at the Tema AstroTurf Stadium has expressed his joy at receiving such a recognition on the first game of the season.
Speaking after the match, the teenage-winger insisted that he was overly excited by the results of the match but promised to work even harder to build and scale high in his career.
Evans was instrumental as he helped keep the visitors at bay for the better part of the encounter, giving them no chance.
“I’m very delighted, being named Man-of-the-match in this tough game is a great honour and an indication to me that I’ve to work even more,” he said.
He added, “we can now look forward to next week’s challenge and build on the confidence after Sunday’s win. We have to concentrate on ourselves and not worry about what’s going on elsewhere.”
Goals from Ropapa Mensah and Isaac Twum was enough to see Inter Allies run away with all three points in their first match of the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League
