Ghana premier league side Asante Kotoko will storm the Tema Sports Stadium on Saturday to play a pre-season friendly game with second-tier side Vision FC.
The game form part of the two teams preparations ahead of their respective campaign as the domestic season is set to commence on 20 February, 2016.
Vision Fc believes Kotoko is one of the biggest clubs in the country apart from Hearts of Oak, and the purpose for the friendly is to test their readiness for the upcoming Division One League.
“A club like Asante Kotoko is one of the biggest clubs in the country apart from Hearts of Oak, so we decided to play them to give our team the opportunity to test their readiness for other big clubs like Heart of Lions and Great Olympics when we meet in the Division One League in the coming season,” Director of the club, Obiri Kweku told sportscrusader.com.
“Our boys are very young and they need exposure through teams like Kotoko so that when we start the Division One League we can perform against the big teams.” He added.
The game tomorrow will be Kotoko’s 13th preparatory game of the off-season. They’ve won 11 of those matches.
