The head coach of the local Black Stars confirmed plans of his office at scouting players across the various league centers after an opening day visit to the Malik Jabir Park at Wa for the Wa All Stars clash with Sekondi Hasaacas.
The ex Wa All Stars supremo expressed his excitement at the return of the league and has outlined a programme that will see them spread their weekly scouts across the various match centers.
Konado, heaped praises on the quality of players in the domestic league despite the lengthy absence of competitive football for over five months.
“We will continue to monitor the GPL across the match centers. I chose Wa All Stars first because of the distance as we will be very busy in the latter stages of the league making it difficult to come here later on.
“We will monitor all the matches starting with Ebusua Dwarfs versus New Edubiase and other matches over the weekend.” the Black Stars vice trainer told sports crusader.
Samuel Tetteh and Fatawu Dauda were the only players to have featured for the Black Stars while playing their trade in the country.
