Nuhu Brothers Vow to Score More Goals For Ashgold

Ashgold twin brothers Alhassan and Fuseni Nuhu have pledged to improve upon their previous performance by banging in more goals at the end of the 2016 Ghana Premier League.


The brothers introduced themselves to the faithful fans of their new side, Ashgold, with the crucial goals as the Miners held off Medeama SC in the opening matches of the season.


The former Edubiase duo racked in 15 goals for the Ashanti region based side before defecting to town rivals just before the commencement of the 2016 football season.


Bashiru Hayford side sealed a transfer deal for the biological brothers to boost up their playing squad ahead of their CAF Champions league campaign.


A goal each from the twins on thei debut league game, confirmed their importance to the Miners quest for domestic and continent aspirations as the Aboakese side skipped their first hurdle at home to Medeama SC.


Twin half of the brothers, Alhassan Nuhu expressed their excitement at both scoring and their readiness to shoulder more responsibilities for the Obuasi based side.


“It has been exciting for us all especially as we scored in the same game for quite a while now as a pair.


“Normally he (Fuseini Nuhu) scores more goals but I must admit my happiness at scoring or seeing my brother also score.


“There are more to come from us as a pair because we just have to enjoy our time on the pitch and chip in with some vital goals too. Hopefully we all get an improved goal tally at the end of the season.” Nuhu told sports crusader.
