Wa All Stars trainer Enos Adepa Kwame has tipped his star forward Richard Arthur to win the 2016 domestic top scoring gong after a bright start to his season.
The former King Solomon manager reincarnated Arthur from his slumber and has singled out the pacy forward to pick the top scoring accolade at the end of the season.
Arthur capped an impressive competitive debut match for his new manager with a striker’s finish to confirm the notion shared by his new boss.
Enos Adepa Kwame touted his star forwards as rare breed of strikers on the domestic terrain that only needs happiness and freedom to express himself on the pitch.
The newly installed engineered his Wa based side into an attacking threat at home to Sekondi Hasaacas but has promised to even better that, if Arthur can stay focused and work harder for himself.
“The very day I saw him I knew what he could do. I saw his problem during the pre-season and handled him at that stage.
“Sometimes a player’s performances might not be an on field problem but a personal problem which could be psychological.
“We spoke about it and worked on it as a team at the training ground. It is just the beginning and Ghanaians should not be surprised if Richard Arthur takes the golden boot at the end of the season”, Enos told sports crusader exclusively.
Arthur racked in 13 goals in the preseason and has extended his off season form to the premiership with a killer goal at the Wa park on Sunday.
The speedy forward joined Wa All Stars from Windy Professionals after another scoring spree but failed to click in his first season at the Malik Jabir with only one goal to his name as he sparingly featured for then Jimmy Corbblah’s side.
