Give Us Gnagne + Cash For Akowuah - Medeama Tells Hearts

Medeama Sporting Club has told Hearts of Oak Robin Gnagne plus cash will secure them the signature of Malik Akowuah.

Malik Akowuah has been the star player for the Mauve and Yellows this season, and the Phobians are convinced he will be an upgrade to their current set up.

There were media reports that Hearts of Oak have written to the Tarkwa-based club confirming their interest.

Medeama SC responded reports saying “Medeama will not deny any local club who want to sign Malik Akowuah because we even need funds to balance our book.”

However, they were stated unequivocally clear that “the amount that we are looking for is beyond the capability of all Ghanaian clubs due to the player’s quality.”

It seems Hearts of Oak have ignored the warning and are pushing Medeama SC to meet them at the negotiations table for a deal.

And they have been told Akowuah, who is also linked with Mamelodi Sundowns, is worth Robin Gnagne plus cash. It is unclear how much Medeama wants, but it is believed they will make it known to the management of the Rainbow club when they agree to let go their skipper.
