Ebusua Dwarfs attacker Bright Lukeman has ruled out the impact of the league set backs on their preparations for the 2016 season.
The rampant attacker who racked home an incredible 30 odd goals in the second tier league to seal premiership football for the Cape Coast side, confirmed the readiness of his side for the upcoming season, despite the uncertainty.
The nation’s top scorer at the end of the last domestic football season remains modest on his quest for the Golden boot in the top flight despite his monstrous goal tally in the GN Bank Division One League season.
The former Liberty Professionals forward expressed the readiness of the mysterious club for the 2016 football season amidst the uncertainties surrounding the league openers.
The bony forward commended the new arrivals in the team and is looking forward to a telepathic attacking partnership with Romeo Agban when the season openers are confirmed.
“The delay in the league will not affect our preparation for the season. We are on course for the new football season and the delay on its start has no place in our side.
We have added new players to the side and with the intensive training we have in the off season, we are well motivated for the season”, Bright Lukman told sports crusader.
“As a club we are working to improve our performances from the Division one league when the league kicks off. I am not desperate to win the top scorer as a player because whatever that comes my way, I will take it in good faith.
I am ready to do my best and see what the future hold for me with the national sides”, the attacker added.
