The Colombian flop has been linked with a move to China after failing to make an impact during his loan spell from Monaco.
He has scored once in nine appearances in the Premier League, and failed to appear during the group stages of Europe’s flagship competition.
Meanwhile, new Blues signing Alexandre Pato has been named in the party as they look to the Brazilian to provide the firepower they need to go deep into the competition.
