Hernan Crespo the former Chelsea player has expressed his joy over the failure of Gary Neville as a coach at Valencia FC. Crespo said “am almost to see Gary Neville struggle at Valencia because it shows how difficult it is to make the transition from pundit to the dugout”.
Valencia record under Gary Neville is the worst record in the whole of La Liga having drawn five and lost four after his appointment as head coach in December 2O16.
Crespo added “To watch a game from the TV, it’s very different than from the bench,” Crespo said to Fox Sports. “I’m almost happy for Gary Neville’s troubles at Valencia. I remember he was too harsh as a TV pundit.”
Valencia who have a very difficult match on Saturday at the Vallesta stadium against Espanyol, have to put up an impressive performance in order to stay up the table as they four points above the relegation zone.”We have to win this match on Saturday,” said Neville. “That’s the pressure I’m putting on myself.”
