Dreams FC Coach Lauds Referees After GPL Opener

Assistant coach of Dreams FC, Winfred Dormon has praised Ghanaian Referees for the performances they exhibited in the opening weekend of the 2015/2016 Ghana Premier League.

Dormon’s Dreams FC side recorded the only away victory in Ghana’s top flight last weekend when they traveled to the Robert Mensah Sports Stadium in Cape Coast to defeat fellow newly promoted side Ebusua Dwarfs by a goal to nil.

According to the former Accra Hearts of Oak player, if the standard of officiating on Match Day one can be replicated throughout the season, there will be hope for Ghana football.

Following Dreams FC’s victory away to Dwarfs, Dormon took to Social Networking site Facebook to praise the Referees.

“If the standard of ‘fair officiating’ we experience at cape coast against Dwarfs, in our maiden match in the just started premier league can be replicated in all centers across the country over the long haul, then there’s a lot of hope for Ghana football. Apparently I’ve been briefed that officiating across board was good enough. Let’s always look at the brighter side of things”, he wrote.

Dreams FC will host Bechem United at the Dawu Park on Sunday.
