Hearts Fans Management To Return Team To Former Training Ground

Hearts of Oak supporters have called on the Management of the Club to return the playing body to its traditional training grounds, ‘Hearts Park’.

The Phobians since the formation of the Club till recently, have been training at the ‘Hearts Park’ in Accra and that was the same place they trained during the era of the 64 Battalion squad who conquered Ghana and the rest of Africa.

The team has been jumping from one training pitch to the other since then, with the notable ones being the ATTC Park, Legon Ajax Park and recently the Police Park.

Meanwhile, the Club’s official training pitch at Pobiman is in a bad state and has been abandoned.

“We want our team to return to the old training grounds because this is a traditional Club and things are not being done right. Since they left this training grounds, success has eluded them and the Managment should see that what we are saying is also part of the solution of the problem we face now”, Charles Adote mentioned.

“There’s a myth about this training grounds that many people don’t know. But those of us who have been following the Club since childhood. We have told the Management so many times, but they are not saying.”

“The money we pay for these training parks, we can as well use it to develop either Pobiman or the Hearts park and we will b fine.”
