Kennedy Ashia Set Sight On CAF Glory With Al Hilal

Former Liberty Professional midfielder Kennedy Ashia is confident of winning the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) Champions league with Sudanese giants Al Hilal after switching camp in the off season.

The attacking midfielder joined the Sudanese side after another successful season with Liberty Professional in the FCPPL but is already looking forward to lifting the continent’s greatest ever club glory.

The 23 year old Ghana Youth international preferred to achieve team glory to individual performances despite opening his account for the ambitious Sudanese giants.

The former Dansonan crowd favourite is relishing the prospect of competing with the elite players in the continent after a promising start to his Al Hilal career.

The local Black Stars attacking midfielder further hinted at a maiden call up to the main national set up with a strong performance for hus Sudanese paymasters.

“I am working very hard to get my best form in Sudan. I am thinking of team victory for now rather personal achievement as a player. As a team we are ready to win the CAF Champions league and we are preparing for it”. Ashia told Sports Crusader.

The slippery midfielder topped the scoring chart for George Lamptey’s Scientific Soccer lads to earn a lucrative deal in the oil rich country with Al Hilal.
