Chelsea Football Club’s medical team have diagnosed that Kurt Zouma sustained an injury to his anterior cruciate ligament during yesterday’s (Sunday) Premier League game against Manchester United.

Kurt underwent a scan on monday, Chelsea released a statement which said Zouma would be out for “approximately six months”. This will effectively rule him out for the season and the European championship coming up in June in his home country France.
The 21-year-old landed awkwardly after contesting a high ball and was taken off on a stretcher in the game with Manchester United that ended 1-1 on Premier league on Sunday
“Scan today has shown I injured my anterior cruciate ligament. I will have surgery this week and will come back stronger,” Zouma twitted.
The situation at hand has necessitated the need to renew John Terry contract which will expire at the end of the season.
