Martin Jol Appointed As Al Ahly Coach




Martin Jol has been appointed as the new coach of Egyptian giants Al Ahly.


The Dutchman who is the former Coach of Fulham and Totteham replaces the Jose Peseiro who signed a new contract with Portuguese side FC Porto.


 


Jol who has been out for close to three years, takes the mantle as manager of Al Ahli who are currently on top of the Egyptian of the league and the manager will be expected to make an impact on the African continent with regards to getting Al Ahli to the group stage of the CAF champions league.


The 60-year-old will be expected to take charge of Al Ahly next game against Petrojet
