Head Coach of Rockets FC, Joseph Kwabena Fosu has set his sights on sealing premier league football with the Wa-based division one newbies. The veteran trainer tipped his rampant side for promotion when the 2016 GN Bank division one league kicks off.
The former Upper West Heroes trainer rallied his youthful side to emulate the feat of Wa All Stars’ triumphant 2006/07 division one squad and pick the sole ticket in zone I when the new season begins.
JK Fosu, older brother of Black Stars’ Assistant trainer, Maxwell Konado touted the attacking department of his side as the strongest weapon that will steer Rockets FC to the premier league.
“Our main target for the season is to qualify to the Premier league at the first time of asking. We have very good players in the side that can steer us to the premier league football next season.
“We are looking at providing a premier league local derby with Wa All Stars in the near future. The sole ticket in zone one will surely be picked by Rockets FC at the end of the division one season. We are ready for the premier league ticket”, JK Fosu told sports crusader.
“We have very sharp attackers in the team that can provide us with enough power and options upfront. We have Salifu Cisse(the top scorer in the division two league), Toure and two other quality forwards in the team. We are set for the division one league anytime we are called upon”, Fosu concluded.
Joseph Kwame Fosu has since qualified Upper West Heroes, Kwamax, Bazooka to a combined total of seven middle leagues in his managerial CV. He qualified Bazooka to the National middle league on three consecutive occasions including their debut season in 2009/10.
