International Allies Chief Executive Officer, Delali Senaye has explained why the club send their players to Swedish league instead of other leagues in Europe.
International Allies are known to be of the best clubs in Ghana churning out quality talents for the local scene and for the international front.
Daniel Amartey who recently joined English Premier league side Leicester City from FC Copenhagen is a product of the club’s academy. He was sent to Dujargen in the Swedish league before he secured a move to the Danish side.
Recently, the club loaned out Baba Mensah who won the best defender in the Ghana Premier league last season to BC Hacken in the Swedish league too, despite several offers from other European leagues.
Dalali Senaye who is also an Executive Committee member of the Ghana Football Association, has explained that the Swedish league gives young players the platform to grow.
“The terrain is a bit difficult in terms of climate but in the the Swedish and the Scandinavian for that matter they are very patient with African players unlike the other leagues where there’s too much expectations,” Delali Senaye told Joy FM.
“That’s why many African players and for that matter Ghanaians has been able to adopt and play in the Swedish league.
“Sweden tend to be a very friendly country for African players to adopt than the European standard because in the league there’s no much pressure like the English Premier league or any other league in Europe,” he explained.
