Head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Kenichi Yatsuhashi has insisted that his team is well on course in their preparation for the new season.
The Phobians played and won two friendly matches on Sunday at the Accra sports stadium, much to the delight of the fans. The first game was against Ifeanyi Ubah FC.
The first game was against Ifeanyi Ubah fc of Nigeria, a match they won 2-0 courtesy goals by Samudeen Ibrahim and Thomas Abbey.
The second was against a combined team of former Hearts players made up of the CAF Champions League, Super Cup and Confederations Cup winning squad. Again, Hearts won 4-2.
“I am happy that gradually we are getting our acts together. Last week we played Inter Allies but we were not able to score.”
“Today we managed to score as many as six in both games we played, and that to me is a good start”, Kenichi Yatsuhashi mentioned.
“I believe that by the time the league starts, we should be okay”, he added.
