We Have Experince to Confront DOL Challenge - Okyeman Planners Captain

Captain of Okyeman Planners FC, Michael Boakye believes they have enough quality within their squad to be very competetive in the competition which kicks off this weekend.

The debutants will open their account with an away encounter against former Premier division side, Amidaus Professionals at the Temas Sports Stadium on Saturday as they seek to make claims in Ghana football.

And Boakye believes they are ready for this encounter as they have prepared very well for the start of this competition. He told Sportscrusader.com that they are not fancied by the nature of the opposition they will be facing on Saturday.

“We have a lot of quality within our squad to be a source of worry to many sides in our zone, and none should take us for a ride as we have prepared very well for the competition,” he said.

He added: “Physically and mentally we are strong and much of the credit must go to the technical team for their efforts in putting us in the right condition to serve this football club”.

The former Asante Kotoko and AshantiGold player asked fans within the Akyem Tafo area to be behind the team as they compete at this level for the first time and, promised that together with his colleagues, they will do well to lift up the image of the community.
