Accra Hearts of Oak assistant coach, Yaw Preko has admitted it is normal what the fans of the Phobians expect from the team whenever they put on the rainbow coloured shirt.
The 20-times Ghana premier league champions opened their account to the new season with a laboured one nil home victory over a side – (New Edubiase) they have struggled to defeat in their last two games at the Accra sports
stadium.
Yaw Rush as he s nicknamed was on the bench alongside new head coach, Kenichi Yatshuashi during the Sunday encounter and after the game believed the fans expectation as to the club winning always does not exert pressure
on the players but rather meets the status of the club.
He said, “every first game is very important though a point would have been okay but the valuable three points we bagged them all and was very important we did considering playing at home.”
We are Accra Hearts of oak and every game is must win and that will secure us all three points; we will build on the Edubiase game going in to face Medeama and will hope for a good game and result”.
Hearts travel to Tarkwa to meet Medeama in their next premier league game.
