Ebusua Dwarfs is not targeting any silverware this season, according to head coach of the club, J.E Sarpong.
Ebusua Dwarfs will make a return to the premier league in the coming weekend should the Ghana Premier League star as planned.
And J.E Sarpong coach of the Cape Coast-based club has revealed that the target for the club is to remain in the premier league and not win silverware ware.
“We hope to remain in the League, the target is perhaps to stay in the League and not win trophies, our work for this year is that we don’t go back to Division One,” the former Liberty Professionals boss said in an interview with TV3 Network.
However, winning silverware will be the utmost aim for the team next season should they remain in the top flight of the country’s football.
“When we stay in the league, we can aim for silverware next season but for now the target is to stay in the League.” He added.
Ebusua Dwarfs will open their Ghana Premier League campaign against newly promoted side, Dreams Football Club at the Cape Coast sports stadium on Sunday.
