Ghana Swimming National Open Championship Kicks Starts

The first national open swimming championships kick starts this Saturday,27  February 2016 at the Burma camp swimming pool in Accra.


 


The championship which is first of the year seeks to keep various athlete in sharp for the upcoming subsequently African and world championship and it will be a beneficial exercise for the security forces who will be looking forward to keep fit in their various jurisdiction.


 


The President of  the  Ghana Swimming Association, Mr Theophilus Edzie told sportscrusader.com that “the upcoming championship will help training various security forces and individual athlete so that they can get stamina and fitness”.


 


Mr. Edzie also added that Abeiku Jackson and Kweku Addo are gradually urging closer to the category B qualification time,so this championship will help them improve upon their personal best.
