Polo"s Only Record Is "Talking" - Barima Atuahene

Barimah Atuahene,  a chairman of the national chapters committee of Accra Hearts of Oak has asked club legend Mohammed Polo to shut up and allow his certificate in coaching do the talking for him as a former player who wants to recognised and valued.

Mohammed Polo has angered the Hearts fans, current board and previous board members notably, Harry Zakkour with his comment claiming will rather play for arch-rivals, Kumasi Asante Kotoko should he resurrect in the future.

The dribbling magician as Polo was nicknamed was answering a question on life after playing most of his career with the Accra based club. Former Hearts defender, Agyemang Duah answered a similar question after playing for both clubs and tipped the Kotoko fans to be more benevolent than the side he won CAF champions league glory with.

Barimah Atuahene in an interview with Kumasi based, Boss fm 93.7, could not hold back his words on Polo’s damning verdict on the supporter base of the club of which he Atuahene is a leader.

Atuahene said, “Hearts of Oak isn’t the only club Polo can prove his mantra as a head simply because he played for the club. Players like Kuku Dadzie played for Kotoko but never coached the club but he’s been successful with Hassacas and the national team. I always advise Mohammed Polo instead of talking he should  rather upgrade his coaching certificate and get a better coaching license than what he has now.”

Supporters did not help him neither did the club but he was not the only player at that time helping Hearts there were many. He is talking more than he should and his record as a coach doesn’t warrant him to speak that much as he often does lately,”he added.
