Coach Sarpong Threatens To Resign If...

Head coach of Ebusua Dwarfs Coach J.E. Sarpong has threatened to cut ties with his premier league returnees if they lose to Accra Hearts of Oak.


The experienced trainer vented his disappointment on the playing staff after suffering a second straight defeat in the league to New Edubiase on Friday.


The disappointed trainer pointed accusing fingers at hidden forces within the team that has engineered their woeful start to the start on the top flight.


Coach Sarpong masterminded Ebusua Dwarf’s return to the premier league in a blistering manner under the inspiration of top scorer Bright Lukeman, but has since suffered two straight defeats without scoring in the top flight.


The frustrated manager threatened to lay down his tools if his side makes it three defeats in the opening 3 matches against Hearts Of Oak next week.


“The coach will have to think deep because we lost our first match at home and lost second game. Can the coach stay on for the third match?


“I can’t stay on to supervise loses and I will advise myself.” Sarpong told reporters after his second defeat to New Edubiase


The disappointed trainer highlighted the inconspicuous nature of Bright Lukman as one several hints to suggest there is a problem somewhere.


“It was very disappointing, very disheartening to see a team that has been put together from division one league that scored many with the top scorer of the competition with 30 goals struggling.


“You can even see him in the game. I hope to stay on for the third match because I can’t supervise these types of games.”, Coach Sarpong ranted.


Ebusua suffered a home reverse to premier league newbies, Dreams FC in the opening match of the season before picking their second straight defeat of the season against New Edubiase.
