Ugandan Officials To Handle Medeama CAF Confederation Cup Match

The Confederation of African football have appointed Uganda’s top referee Denis Batte to officiate Medeama SC CAF Confederation Cup match against FC Shend of Sudan.


The match has been scheduled to take place on Sunday 10 April 2016 at  20:00(GMT)


The 40-year-old, who started refereeing in 1998, will take charge of the proceedings on pitch as Medeama SC take the first step of trying to qualify to the next phase of the competition.


Batte , will be assisted by fellow countrymen Mark Ssonk and Lee Okello.


Medeama SC who are currently occupying the eight position on the Ghana Premier League table  are the sole representative of Ghana in African Club competition after the elimination of AshGold from thre CAF Champions League, and, they are scheduled to leave Ghana by Egypt Air for Sudan later this Wednesday.
