The 2015-16 MTN FA Cup final will be played on Sunday, August, 28, 2016.
The Organisers of the competition, the MTN FA Cup Committee, who scheduled February for the start of the competition, believes the period between the semifinal and the final, should be enough for them to put the necessary arrangements in place to ensure the competition ends successfully.
There are 16 teams remaining and there will be a live draw on May 3 with matches being played from May 11.
The round of eight draw also comes off on June 7 while the quarter finals competition starts from June 15-19.
The Semi-finalists will face each other on July 30 and 31 to determine who qualifies to the grand finale.
Defending champions Medeama SC were knocked out by Liberty Professionals 5-4 on penalties after playing to a one-all draw in regulations time in the round of 64.
Defending league champions AshGold who got to the semifinal last year, were knocked out at the round 32 by Asokwa Deportivo, while Accra Hearts of Oak also dropped out of the competition at the same round, with Kotoko, Liberty Professionals, Sekondi Hasaacas, WAFA and Wa All Stars have all made it to the next round.
