Liberty Professionals captain, Samuel Sarfo has praised the performances of Central defensive partner Maxwell Mensah.
Mensah, a veteran in the Ghana Premier League, has been ever present alongside the captain in Liberty’s defensive set up but will have to play with a different person this in this weekend’s tie with Aduana Stars as Sarfo has been suspended.
And speaking in an exclusive interview with SportsCrusader.com in the build-up to the that fixture, the suspended Liberty rare man expressed confidence that Maxwell Mensah will be up to the task in his absence.
“Maxwell Mensah has been my motivator all these while so I am not present, whoever will play alongside him will gel in the central back position”, the Liberty Skipper said.
“I always give credit to him because we all benefit from his experience in the Premier League and I always feel cushioned when I am playing with him”, Samuel Sarfo added.
Maxwell Mensah joined the Scientific Soccer lads at the beginning of last season having had spells with Great Olympics and Hearts of Oak in the past
