Safiu Fatawu Shows Class In Whitecaps 2-1 Victory

Ex-Inter Allies striker Abdul Fatawu Safiu featured for Toronto Whitecaps FC 2 in their 2-1 win over Swope Park Rangers at the Children’s Mercy Victory field in the United States League (USL).

They came back from a goal down to score in each half with their goals coming from Kyle Greig and Ben Mckendry after King Tyrpak had opened the scoring for Rangers.

Safiu was introduced into the game in the 73rd minute when he came on for Daniel Haber and he put in a fantastic display that caught the eye of his team and fans alike.

The Ghanaian markaman has had a terrific time in the USL this season, as he scored his first goal and grabbed an assist in his sides 2-2 with LA Galaxy II last week.
