Southampton keeper Fraser Forster has admitted he is flattered by Chelsea’s interest in him.
Reports in the UK revealed earlier this month that the Blues have the giant 28-year-old in their sights if Belgian Thibaut Courtois decides he wants to leave this summer.
Forster has just two years left on his current contract at Southampton and has yet to sign a new deal.
Reflecting on Chelsea’s interest he said: “I think it is a compliment in many ways because if you are being linked with teams then you are obviously doing the right things.
“I’m just concentrating on the day-to-day business here at the club and then hopefully I can have a good summer with England.”
Real Madrid want Courtois who spent three seasons on loan with rivals Atletico before returning to his parent club Chelsea two years ago.
