Argentina and Barcelona forward, Lionel Messi has been crowned world football’s best player at the Global Soccer award event held in Dubai.

 

The Argentina forward, who has been  battling injury this season, scored 58 goals as Barca enjoyed a memorable treble-winning campaign last season.
