Ghana defender Lawrence Lartey is expected to make his debut for Ajax Cape Town when the PSL resumes on January 8.
The Urban Warriors are pushing to secure a work permit to make the center half eligible to start playing official matches.
Ajax signed Lawrence Lartey in November to end a two-year chase of the former Ghana U20 captain.
He resumed training with the rest of his teammates at Aja earlier this week after a brief break for the Christmas festivities.
Ajax play Bloemfontein Celtic on January 8 and coach Roger De Sa hopes to have Lartey all-cleared to make his club debut.
