Andre Ayew To Return Against Chelsea

Swansea City manager Francesco Guidolin has revealed that Ghana international Andre Ayew should be fit to face Chelsea on April 9 at the Liberty Stadium.

An ankle injury has forced the 26-year-old to miss the Swans’ last three games including Saturday afternoon’s 2-2 draw at Stoke City.

“[Ayew] is not fit. He is getting better, but he is not ready for Saturday. He could be ready for the game against Chelsea,” Guidolin told reporters in the build up to the game against Stoke.

The Swansea City Manger also revealed his frustrations at not having his players reports early from the international break.

“It has not been an easy period with so many players away at many games. It is not easy for a club manager because many players are away in many different places.

With just six games to go, ‎Swansea are sitting 15th on the premier league log with 37 points and Ayew’s return next will serve as a huge motivation for the Wales side as they continue to battle for Premier League survival.
