Ghanaian international Rahim Ayew has expressed the desire to return to former club Asante Kotoko, if the Kumasi based club makes an offer.
According to the Sekondi Eleven Wise and Zamalek versatile player, he left the Porcupine Warriors two seasons ago purely due to contractual misunderstandings, but admitted he would love to make a return.
Speaking on Sports Xtra on Wednesday, Rahim Ayew, the first son of Ghanaian legend Abedi Ayew, also revealed that he is currently training with his former coach, C K Akunnor at Newly Promoted Dreams FC.
“I am currently training with my former manager at Sekondi Eleven Wise, Coach C.K Akunnor at Dreams FC, but will love to play for Kumasi Asante Kotoko”, Rahim Ayew said, adding that, “I left Kotoko because of our contractual agreement but will now love to play for the Kumasi club”
“If I am making 1,000 dollars this season and you want to better my contract the following season then, the expectation will be, giving me more than 1,000 dollars not equal to or less than that”, Ayew concluded.
The former Black Star player is a free agent at present and is available for any offer from any club although his wish remains to play for Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
