Kawanopado and Miners have sealed qualification to represent the Central Region in the first edition of the Xplicit Ball League (XBL) nationwide tournament, to be held in Kumasi later this year.
Kawanopado stood tall as they won all four games at the Hoops Basketball court in Cape Coast last Sayurday.
The event also saw Miners coming 2nd, winning three games as they lost to Kawanopado in the round robin games.
They now join other Regional reps from Ashanti Region, Volta Region, Eastern Region, Western Region and Brong Ahafo.
The XBL nationwide tournament will see community clubs converge at one court and battle for Strength, Skill, Power, Shoots, Dunks and for the bragging rights.
The date for the tournament will be out after all participating regions finish their qualifications tournaments.
