Berekum Chelsea Trainer, Solomon Odwo has praised the performance of Match officials despite is side’s 3-1 defeat at Liberty Professionals on Wednesday.
According to him, although his side has been a subject of poor officiating in recent times, Center Referee Isaac Quaye along with his assistants Effah Tetteh and Richard Kotei were on point with their decisions throughout the Week 8 Encounter.
Speaking to SportsCrusader.com after the game, Solomon Odwo took time to shower praises on the match officials, describing their officiating as ‘very fair’.
“I am one of the coaches who started complaining about referees since I took last season when I took over Chelsea in Ghana. I have coached in many of the countries and when I came here I saw how officiating was very bad”, he said.
“But let me testify that, this afternoon, the officiating was very fair”. Odwo added.
Two quick goals from Latif Blessing and a late strike from striker Bernard Arthur ensured the Liberty Professionals bounced from a goal down to defeat Chelsea at the Carle Reindorf Park.
