MTN FA Cup: Liberty Professionals Set Sight On Cup Glory

After eliminating defending Champions Medeama SC in the round 64, Liberty Professionals have set their sight on clinching the ultimate as they prepare to take Division League side Pure Joy in the round of 32 of the 2015/2016 MTN FA Cup.


The Dansoman based suffered a third defeat of the season at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in a league encounter against Asante Kotoko on Sunday and will look to bounce back when they travel to the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence to play Pure Joy in the FA Cup on Saturday.


And speaking in an exclusive interview with SportsCrusader.com on Monday, Skipper of the side, Samuel Sarfo says his side are not taking the FA Cup lightly.


“Our next stop is to concentrate on the next game with pure joy. We are taking that match just as we approach premier league games”, Sarfo said.


“F a cup matches are tough sometimes so we going all out with our men to fight for victory and we are playing away too so u can imagine” he added.


On whether Liberty Professionals can win the FA Cup, Sarfo said,” Most definitely”.


“That’s why we don’t have to keep our heads down after this [Asante Kotoko] defeat. We need to win at all cost to be on winnings ways till the league resumes”, the captain concluded.
