Newly promoted Division One side Vision FC, has ruled out an imminent qualification to the top flight ahead of their maiden appearance in the second tier league.
The Greater Accra based GN Bank DOL newbies is targeting their league status in the first season despite their impressive progress into the league.
Vision FC zoomed their way into the nation’s second tier league at the expense of True Democrats in the Greater Accra Regional division II league.
President and owner of the much fancied Vision FC, Mr. George Aforklenyue lowered expectations from the teaming fans of the side head of their inaugural season in the GN Bank division one league.
George Vision as he is known in the football fraternity ruled out flexing muscles with the established side when the 2016 domestic season unravels in earnest.
The religiously inclined owner of the club openly expressed his readiness to maintain the status of the club in the coming season before raising the bar in the coming season.
He told sports crusader, “I am not really bent on qualification to the premier league at the first time of asking. We are here in the Division one league by God’s grace and we expect him to carry us forward.
“We are new in the Division and not ready to flex muscle with the established sides but to humbly learn to play in that level of football”.
Mr Aforklenyue has been hailed across the nation for his starring role in transforming a colts club to a division one side in seventeen years.
Vision FC was formed as Eleven Strangers FC as area club but has gone one to rub shoulders with the nation’s elite in terms of professional administration.
Vision FC ended a seven year stay in the division two league at the expense of True Democrats in the Capital showdown.
