Ghanaian Premier League (GPL) side, Ashanti Gold Sporting Club has opened their doors for investors, sportscrusader.com has learnt.
AngloGold Ashanti, financiers of the club is financially handicapped and is ready to give out shares of the club to interested individual(s) or corporate body (ies).
The defending league champions is facing financial difficulties due to AngloGold’s inability to meet the demands of the club.
Sportscrusader.com understands that the club, was ready to sell two of their key players – Emmanuel Osei Baffour and Kadri Mohammed to raise some money for the club.
But AngloGold blocekd the deals,with reasons that selling players does not reflect in the finances of the club.
