New Edubiase head coach, Anthony Commey says he knew would win against Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Stadium on Saturday.
The Yenko nkoaa boys pulled off a master performance to end Kotoko’s resurgence under Michael Osei.
Prince Antwi scored the only goal of the game after a horrendous error by Ahmed Adams on the 20th minute of the week 9 fixture, and they held on to secure their third win at the Porcupine Warriors home ground in seven matches.
And Commey says he is not surprised.
“We came with a plan and I knew we would win. We are always confident playing here because we have a good record,” the 2012 MTN FA Cup winner told Super Sport after the game.

“We knew they will come at us and our plan was to play on the counter. That was what we did and it worked.”
New Edubiase adopted delay tactics in the second half of the game, choosing the turf even when they were unchallenged. Commey says it is part of the game.
“Those things are part of the game. It happens everywhere when you under pressure and wants to kill time.” He noted.
