Dreams FC head coach, C.K. Akonnor is excited to see Godwin Attram at the dug out of second tier side, Accra Great Olympics.
Attram was named the successor of Yaw Acheampong, after the expiration of his contract last week.
And Akonnor, who has led Dreams FC, into a blistering start in the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League (GPL), is happy to see most of his teammates taking to coaching.
“I am happy for him. It is always good to see your colleagues in the industry as yourself. We need to encourage more ex-players to get into the business,” Akunnor said.
“It is always good to have active participants of the game turning into managers and I am happy at that.
“The best person for a job is someone who has done the job before and knows the ins and outs of the job.”
“It’s encouraging and I believe the FA will encourage more ex-players to get into coaching to help develop the game.”
C.K. Akonnor’s team mates like Malam Yaya, Yaw Preko, Gargo Mohammed and many others are currently coaches in Ghana.
